ACCEPTABLE USE

Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone using the ZapNet WiFi service and forms part of the Terms of Service. It exists to keep the network safe, lawful, and fair for all users.

ZapNet is a shared service. Speeds are capped per bundle and the network is managed to protect all users. Excessive or abusive use that degrades service for others may be throttled or suspended.

3. Security & your responsibility

Public WiFi is a shared medium. You are responsible for securing your own device and data. Avoid transmitting sensitive information over any public network without appropriate protection (e.g. HTTPS, a VPN).

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected breaches and may suspend or terminate access, remove content, and report unlawful activity to the authorities. Connection records may be retained and disclosed as required by law (see Privacy Policy and the RICA notice in our Terms).

Report abuse: Suspected misuse of the network can be reported to abuse@zapnet.co.za.

5. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
